We were privileged to attend BIAZA’s National Aquarium Conference 2022 with the purpose of bringing together Britain and Ireland’s best zoos and aquariums to create a better future for the planet and its inhabitants.
Animal care Trainer Coach, Alissa Dale, and keeper and aquarist specialist, Grace Goddard, hosted a short presentation promoting our fantastic level 3 keeper and aquarist qualification.
Grace said, “This was a huge event, attended by delegates from 46 institutions within the aquarium industry. It was a brilliant opportunity for us to chat to organisations about our level 3 keeper and aquarist apprenticeship.
The National Aquarium Conference provides an opportunity for aquarium collections, educational organisations and aquarists around the UK to share updates and knowledge within the aquarium industry. There were some amazing talks around conservation, education and legislation.
The event was topped off with a trip around the National Sealife Centre in Birmingham – we hope to be there next year!”
