We would like to extend a huge congratulations to former level 3 senior equine racing apprentice, Jade Gilbert, who has recently been promoted to Head Girl at Richenda Ford Racing.

Jade completed her apprenticeship with us in 2021 and has since continued with her hard work. We caught up with Jade and her employer, Richenda Ford, following their fantastic news.

Jade says, “I’m so proud of my promotion. My apprenticeship gave me the ability and confidence to achieve this. The feeling of success with the younger horses from breaking in, riding and teaching them how to jump makes my job so rewarding.”

Richenda added, “Jade takes on any job with a positive attitude, from mucking out, breaking in young horses, to jumping on the tractor and doing field maintenance! Jade is becoming a fantastic head girl. She has taken younger members of staff under her wing and I’m so proud of her. A huge well done Jade!”
