Last Sunday Haddon Training were delighted to be able to participate in Parallel Windsor, the incredible annual festival of inclusivity. Parallel Windsor is the UK’s national celebration of disability inclusion & wellbeing. Their award winning event is held in the grounds of the majestic Windsor Great Park & staged on the iconic Long Walk. With challenge events, inclusive fun and entertainment for the whole family, it is an event where everyone is welcomed. Trainer Coach Hannah Gregory and Equality Diversity and Inclusion Ambassador Frankie Roberts had the chance to attend this very special event that is close to the heart of many of our learners and employers.

The social aim for Parallel is to support disabled people to be free to live life to the full in mainstream society, and Hannah and Frankie were able to speak and interact with a wide range of people attending the event, and share some of the ways that Haddon Training could support them with their education. The day was a great success and they got to meet some amazing friends of Parallel, including British comedian Rosie Jones, British former Paralympian swimmer Ellie Simmonds and former racehorse Barbers Shop who was bred by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Frankie says, “Parallel was such a lovely day, everyone attending was so friendly and welcoming, with inclusivity at the core of the event.”
