Why choose Haddon Training?

For more than two decades, our commitment to delivering exceptional service to both learners and employers has solidified our position as a leading training provider across equine and animal care and we forged excellent partnerships with a range or charities and organisations.

We’ve established strong and valued connections across these sectors and are proud to work with brilliant companies including the RSPCALongleat Safari Park, and Hughes Dressage. Our dedication to providing superior training is evident in our awards and accreditations, including Cyber Essentials Plus, the matrix standard and an Ofsted ‘Good’ grade.

Functional skills

When participants begin a qualification with us, they may be required to complete Functional Skills qualifications in maths and English. These are a mandatory part of apprenticeships in England, unless learners already hold a qualification in these areas at this level.

Functional Skills support learners whilst they navigate their chosen fields. From calculating feed and medication ratios, to communicating effectively with clients and colleagues, these skills are beneficial in many aspects of equine and animal care roles.

For our Alternative Provision courses, Functional Skills are optional.

We have chosen to work with Haddon Training due to their award-winning status within the equestrian training field; they have been incredibly supportive, and we look forward to a long and successful partnership.
