Work-life balance and recognition

As part of the Educ8 Group, recognising the accomplishments and achievements of our staff is incredibly important to us, and we highlight outstanding performance through annual events including our Gr8 days, Length of Service Awards, and Apreci8 days.

We prioritise our team’s well-being and work-life balance with flexible policies, including remote work options, early finish on a Friday (Rejuvin8), birthday leave, and Christmas shutdown. These incentives are in addition to 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing to 35 days based on length of service).

Our reward and recognition package ‘Remuner8’ also allows our staff to advance through a clear salary banding system, without the requirement for extra responsibilities or role changes. We actively encourage and support our staff to enhance their skills and knowledge through training programmes, apprenticeship opportunities and our company incentive Cultiv8 – empowering them to flourish both personally and within their roles.

Staff Wellbeing

Haddon Training offer a range of well-being benefits to ensure staff feel supported both inside and outside the workplace.

Partnering with Westfield Health as part of our Employee Assistance Programme, staff have access to optical, dental and therapy treatments and a 24/7 virtual GP consultation service after 1 year of service. In addition, you can obtain free advice and information for legal, debt and health advice from day one of employment.

The My Healthy Advantage App features a variety of well-being content and self-help tools, providing support for any issues employees may be facing. Westfield Rewards offers discounts from hundreds of leading retailers, as well as discounted gym and health club memberships.

Understanding how our employees feel is important to us. From one-to-one support, mental health first aider assistance and monthly well-being activities, we are committed to helping you be the best you can be.

Employee Owned Trust

In February 2022, as part of the Educ8 Group, Haddon Training became an Employee-Owned Trust, where staff became the majority shareholders of the company, collectively owning 51% of the business. This means that our employees have a real interest in the performance and growth of the company, and will be able to benefit from the success of the business.

Employee ownership creates a collaborative culture where everyone’s input is valued, contributing to enhanced employee satisfaction and a positive workplace environment.
