Animal Antiks Achievement Awards 2023

Animal Antiks Achievement Awards

At the beginning of September, we were delighted to sponsor and attend the Animal Antiks Achievement Awards Ceremony to celebrate the accomplishments of their amazing learners.

Animal Antiks is an inspiring organisation that provides a variety of animal-assisted learning placements to individuals with additional needs, or who may have struggled in conventional educational settings. A range of qualifications are offered through a partnership with Animal Antiks and Haddon Training, including English, maths, employability skills and equine and animal care.

The ceremony took place at Roman Park Hall in Aylesbury, where learners were recognised for all their successes over the past academic year.

Our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Ambassador, Frankie Roberts, has been at the forefront of our partnership with Animal Antiks and was in attendance for the awards to distribute trophies and medals to our Haddon Training learners.

Frankie says, “I’m so proud to work with all our learners and see the huge journeys they’ve progressed on; having the awards afternoon means so much to them and to their families, enabling them to formally celebrate their achievements. It provides a lovely start to the new academic year, putting everyone in positive spirits. Well Done to Sarah and the Animal Antiks team for putting this together; they go above and beyond to ensure that their learner’s achievements are recognised.”

Our Operations Manager, Natalie Hare, was also in attendance to present medals and reflected, “It was a fantastic and moving day to watch the learners receive well-deserved awards for their incredible achievements, what an amazing celebration, and I felt honoured to be a part of it. It really is a credit to all the hard work and dedication that Frankie, Sarah, and the team at Animal Antiks put into supporting these learners and I am immensely proud that Haddon Training is a part of it.”

We’d like to thank all the team at Animal Antiks, the learners and their families for making this such a special day and we felt privileged to play a role in these celebrations.

One of the amazing learners there, Scarlet said, “I really liked getting my award, I liked that my mum and family were there, and they were really proud of me.”
