Enhance your knowledge

Our qualifications provide an excellent foundation to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed for success. Whether you’re just starting out, or seeking to progress in your current company, our business qualifications can help you achieve your career objectives.

Our nationally recognised qualifications are entirely work-based, allowing you to gain practical experience whilst being employed and earning a wage. We provide information, advice and guidance to support you in achieving your goals and training is free, funded by the government and your employer. Our team of Trainer Coaches have demonstrable experience within the business sector and will support you throughout the duration of your programme.

Functional skills

When you begin a qualification with us, you may be required to complete Functional Skills qualifications in maths and English. These are a mandatory part of apprenticeships in England, unless you already hold a qualification in these areas at this level.

Functional Skills lay the foundations for a successful career. For those undertaking business apprenticeships, day-to-day tasks call for a basic understanding of Functional Skills, for example English is essential for tasks such as drafting emails and creating presentations. Mathematical skills are crucial for tasks like budgeting, financial record-keeping, and data analysis.

Entry requirements

When looking to undertake a business apprenticeship with us you should have some basic experience in the field that you are applying (this can be personal experience and doesn’t have to be knowledge of working in a business environment). This allows you to grow and expand your experiences whilst learning everything it takes to work in a business setting.

You will also need to study English and maths if you haven’t already achieved the desired grade (GCSE grade A-C or grade 4 or above) and will work towards achieving a Functional Skills Level 2 qualification in these areas as part of your apprenticeship. Your digital skills will also be developed as part of our apprenticeship programmes.

Safeguarding and Welfare

We are committed to providing a secure environment for all learners and staff. All our staff recognise that Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility irrespective of the role they undertake or whether their role has direct contact or responsibility for learners or not. Haddon Training aims to create a culture of vigilance.

We abide by all Safeguarding legislation and have a Safeguarding Officer available.

You can contact our Safeguarding Officer on 07745 647524 or email: handsupforhelp@educ8training.co.uk

Health and Safety

All employers are required to comply with certain regulatory and quality standards. When they take on an apprentice with us, we provide a checklist that identifies the mandatory and advisory standards that employers are required to meet. They must comply with all legal and regulatory standards when employing staff and ensure they are all working in a safe and healthy environment.

Haddon Training take these standards seriously and will take steps to satisfy ourselves that employers meet these requirements before agreeing to an apprentice. Further information on the requirements can be found at www.hse.gov.uk.
