We’re pleased to ‘celebrate the success’ and award one of our brilliant equine traineeship learners, Mia McCullough, a Certificate of Recognition to acknowledge her progression since being on the programme. Mia started her Traineeship with Cotswold RDA (Riding for the Disabled) Centre in May 2021 and has completed the employment modules and is nearing completion of three equine modules.

Of working through her traineeship, Mia commented,

“I’m enjoying working at the Cotswold RDA and am learning a lot on the traineeship”.

Cotswold RDA is a wonderful riding centre who are united by a strong sense that contact with ponies can offer excellent therapy to people of all ages who live with a disability. They have created a community of people who come together to ride ponies, or to help others to ride ponies.

Cotswold RDA’s Operations Manager, Debbie Powell, added,

“We are so proud of Mia. She is constantly growing in confidence, not only communicating with her peers but demonstrating her ability to confidently complete tasks on her own”

Mia has been supported through her traineeship by her fantastic Trainer Coach, Emma Harris, who said,

“Mia has not only progressed with her programme, but also with her confidence and ability to speak to others on the yard and assist with the disabled riders. In a few months’ she has literally grown in confidence and is a much more smiley person!”

Well done Mia, from the whole team at Haddon Training!
