Tell us a little bit about your job
I work for The Berkshire Riding Centre where I have been a Level 2 Apprentice Groom for just over 3 months.

What inspired you to become an apprentice?
I was a client at the centre for just over 10 years and wanted to learn to teach.

How do you find the paperwork side of your apprentice?
I find the paperwork fascinating and enjoy researching and learning more about horses.

What has been the highlight so far?
The highlight for me so far is being able to ride every day.

What are your hopes for the future?
My hopes for the future are to be able to gain more qualifications, expand my knowledge and improve my riding.

What advice do you have for other people considering an apprenticeship?
Although it’s hard work there is a lot of job satisfaction once achieving something out of your comfort zone. It’s also a good opportunity to learn lots!
