We love celebrating the achievements of our amazing apprentices. Millie Compton and Maddison Wynnick are employed at Bella JoJos Pet Boutique & Spa in Swindon, Wiltshire. They have both just passed their level 2 dog groomer qualifications.
We caught up with them to find out more.
I’ve learnt so much
Millie says, “I chose an apprenticeship because I wanted to earn a wage while gaining a qualification… and I’ve always loved dogs! I’ve learnt so much, from covering the range of coat types you work with in grooming to the different styles and anatomy. Kirsten has been a great Trainer Coach has been extremely supportive”.
The best decision I ever made
Maddison adds, “I made the decision to do an apprenticeship because I learn best in a practical environment. I knew I wanted to work with animals and found an apprenticeship within grooming. It’s the best decision I ever made and Kirsten, my Trainer Coach, has been very helpful in supporting to achieve my Level 2 Dog Groomer apprenticeship. I have learnt a lot through my apprenticeship which has advanced my knowledge and skills”.
