We are pleased to offer formal accreditation for dog groomers at all stages of their career.

Our dog grooming courses, which are awarded by City and Guilds, are short, affordable and recognised by the dog grooming industry, the Pet Industry Federation and the British Dog Groomers Association.

We provide all of the assessment materials needed and can support directly in a workplace. We will plan frequent visits to ensure progression and achievement at a pace to suit both the learner and employer.

  • Are you eligible?

    To be eligible to take the course

    • You need to be actively employed in the dog grooming sector, this can be as an assistant or operating independently.
    • You need to be at least 16+ years old and have completed year 11.

    Please note that the courses we run are only available in the South-West of England and South Wales.

    All our courses will be run at your place of work and the time frame that they are run over depends on your requirements, please discuss this with the team upon application.

    The courses that we run are below and are only available in the South-West of England and South Wales.

     

    1. Level 2 Certificate in Dog Grooming Assistants  (approx 4-6 visits).
    2. Level 2 Diploma in Animal Care and Welfare (dog grooming assistant pathway) (approx 6-8 visits).
    3. Level 3 Diploma in Animal Care and Management (dog grooming stylist pathway) (approx 8-10 visits).
