Our Partners

We are proud to work with a range of partners throughout the Equine and Animal Care sectors. Together, we work to promote skills development and career opportunites, particularly for young people within the industries.  

Within the equine industy, we are the preferred apprenticeship provider for all three disciplines of the British Equestrian Federation, British Showjumping, British Dressage and British Eventing.

Showingcouncil

We are the approved and preferred training provider for The Showing CouncilThe Showing Council represents an amalgamation of key showing bodies which came into being under the direction and guidance of Graham Suggett and Jan Rogers from the British Equine Federation (B.E.F.). The 12 member bodies are: British Miniature Horse Society (BMHS), British Show Pony Society (BSPS)British Skewbald and Piebald Association (BSPA)Coloured Horse and Pony Society (CHAPS)Donkey Breed SocietyIrish Draught Horse SocietyNational Pony Society (NPS)Northern Counties Ponies Association (NCPA)Ponies (UK) AssociationSide Saddle Association (SSA)Sport Horse Breeding of Great Britain (SHB(GB))United Saddlebred Association UK Ltd (USA-UK). 

 

BHSWe work with the British Horse Society (BHS) to promote excellent training and development within the industry. In 2013, we were proud to be the key sponsor for the 'BHS Instructor of the Year' competition. 


 

   

BGA

An important partnership we have is with the British Grooms Association.  Through this, we are able to offer our horse care apprentices one year's free membership of the BGA.

 

 

We work with adult special needs residential establishments offering Land-Based qualifications, including City & Guilds ‘Skills for Working Life’ and Level 1 Land-Based Studies. Hill View Farm at Thatcham. We work with our sub-contractor ‘The Saddlery Training Centre’, based in Salisbury to provide Saddlery apprenticeships throughout England.

We work with a number of schools in the South East and South West to offer programmes for 14-17 year olds, including City & Guilds Horse Care (Level 1) qualifications at specialist equine training yards. We work closely with the schools to find the appropriate placement for the individual child.

We work with the Royal Artillery Centre for Personal Development to support the delivery of apprenticeships for The King's Troop, Royal Horse Artillery in London.

We are now working with Career Grooms Recruitment Agency to help inform employers and young job seekers about work-based Apprenticeships throughout the Equine sector!
