Haddon Training has just announced its sponsorship of the British Grooms Awards. Last presented in 2009, these two esteemed awards have been revitalised with fantastic prizes for the winning grooms, and presentations being made at the prestigious British Breeders’ Awards Dinner early in January 2015.

Unprecedented unity by the equestrian industry has led to the successful bid for a new equine groom apprenticeship from the government under their new Trailblazers scheme.

 

Too many grooms are working abroad without travel insurance

A recent survey has revealed that a shocking 86% of grooms who travel abroad as part of their job don’t have any travel insurance to cover them for medical treatment.

Imogen is based at Marcelo Tosi’s Woodland Farm stables in Marston and is presently undertaking her Advanced Apprenticeship in Horse Care and Management with Haddon Training, based in Marlborough. Her Apprenticeship programme has been specifically tailored around a commercial eventing yard.
