"To deliver high quality learning and training, developing a skilled workforce, and inspiring individuals and companies to achieve their full potential."
Haddon Training Ltd is a high quality, dynamic work-based training organisation with an outstanding reputation throughout the Equine industry. Established 15 years ago by the owner and Managing Director, Chris Hewlett, it has retained its unique identity as a specialist land-based training provider. This ensures that we remain focused on the ever-changing needs of the equine industry.
Three years ago, we responded to employers' requirements to provide Business training and we offer a range of qualifications, including Customer Service and Management. We also offer Animal Care qualifications to suit a wide range of employers' needs, from zoos to catteries.
Our excellence in training provision was recognised by Ofsted in July 2011, when we were awarded Grade One "Outstanding". We are proud to be the approved apprenticeship provider for all three Disciplines of the British Equestrian Federation, and to deliver the Advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence for British Showjumping.
Credibility is all-important within the Equine sector. Chris Hewlett has spent his working life with horses, previously owning Haddon Stud, an internationally recognised stud that produced winning horses at national level in the competition disciplines of eventing, dressage, showing and National Hunt racing. He is a key member of equine sector development bodies and maintains an active role as a national Showing judge for Hunters and Irish Draughts.
We have a long-established partnership with The King's Troop RHA, delivering apprenticeships for Horse Gunners in Woolwich, London.
